About Lexcello

LNAT practice built by a small team of educators who sit the LNAT themselves and talk regularly with students preparing for it.

Why we started

In 2025, Raj's daughter was preparing for the LNAT. They quickly found how little practice material there was: the official practice papers were useful, but nowhere near enough to prepare properly, and there was little else that felt like the real test.

Raj had spent more than a decade helping students prepare for admissions tests, and had already built an online preparation platform, Prepcool, for the digital SAT. So in 2025 he started Lexcello: full, timed LNAT practice tests with an explanation for every answer.

How we write our tests

We sit the LNAT ourselves, to understand the test as candidates experience it.
We talk to students preparing for the LNAT, and to students who have just sat it, regularly.
We are a small team of professional academicians. We keep sitting these tests, and we discuss, brainstorm and research as we write each new test.
We keep our tests up to date. Fresh tests are written to reflect the current LNAT. Our Featured Tests use four answer options, like today's test, and are written with insights from our own experience of sitting the LNAT and from our conversations with students.

Our first year

Between October 2025 and October 2026, our first year, around 1,500 students registered on Lexcello, and most took our free diagnostic test. Several went on to take our full practice tests before sitting the real LNAT.

Students who sat the LNAT in that year told us the real test felt close to our tests. That is exactly what we aim for.
